Karl Kirchwey

Karl Kirchwey is the author of eight books of poetry, most recently Good Apothecary, a translation of poems by Italian poet Giovanni Giudici; a translation of French poet Paul Verlaine’s first book; and two edited anthologies, Poems of Rome and Poems of Healing. He directs the Creative Writing Program at Boston University, where he teaches in the Poetry and Literary Translation MFA Programs as well as in the English and Classical Studies Departments.
