Josh Patner

Josh Patner has had an unusually varied career in fashion since arriving in New York City 1985 from Chicago. He managed Donna Karan’s design studio; he was a fashion scout for Bergdorf Goodman and then a stylist for L’Uomo Vogue and more. He won a CFDA award for new talent for the cult label Tuleh in 2000, taught design at Parsons, and later worked in visual merchandising for Prada. He was a fashion journalist for a decade, reporting for the New York Times and Slate. He owned Loveland The Bohemian Marine, a shop in Provincetown, for a decade before returning to New York. He graduated from Oberlin College in 1984.
