Great article. To answer the author's rhetorical question, I guess I'm the kind of asshole that defriends people. It's simple and subtle and no one ever knows you've done it. Sure it's nice to snoop for awhile and see where the high school and college pals ended up, but I'm not trying to win any awards for most fake friends, and we didn't keep in touch for a reason. Scott needs to grow up and start paring away the excess... If you don't care what the person did this weekend and their updates don't make you laugh... click!
