Viacom, headed by cranky/nudist octogenarian Sumner Redstone, just doesn't get it. He fired Tom Freston for not buying MySpace and letting rivals get it...and now that someone else has gotten YouTube, he is being equally draconian. This isn't about copyright -- it's about Redstone's anger at his organization, so he's punishing the winners. (Free samples of videos/programs on YouTube might be the ONLY thing that could help CBS and his other lagging properties).
