This week, UE takes a look at the issue of "network neutrality."

Each day, we will feature a new video and a thoughtful At Issue piece that covers the heart of the topic.

The debate at the center of net neutrality comes down to this: How much control should network operators be allowed to have over the information on their lines?

According to Save the Internet, the big telephone and cable companies, including AT&T, Verizon and Comcast, want to be Internet gatekeepers, deciding which Web sites go fast or slow and which won't load at all. While consumers currently choose which Web sites to access and applications to use, Save the Internet claims that the end of net neutrality would lead to restricted access to information and the end of innovation, freedom of choice and freedom of expression.

What do you think? Is net neutrality something we should all be concerned about or is it a bunch of over-hyped mumbo jumbo? Click here to vote, and voice your own thoughts below.

The worst is the ads from the cable industry, saying consumers are left all google-eyed by the net neutrality debate, and that it's just another attempt by Silicon Valley fat cats to get rich. Despite being b.s., it's more than a little hypocritical, too.
