 The answer to this
riddle, according to Wikipedia, is: Simon
Cowell. But, in my opinion, the answer
could be either man.
So, what do these two men
have in common other than their bluntness, bad hair and power over others?
I recently read an article
that claimed business plan contests have become the new American Idol meets
Donald Trump, or The Apprentice.
So, who are the hosts of
such contests? Hosts include product
makers, investment firms and non-profits trying to increase economic activity
in a region or industry. While the cash
prizes for contest entrants are enticing, the greatest prizes, win or lose,
include free publicity and access to investors and other entrepreneurs.
If you have an idea, be
brave enough to pursue a plan.
