Dear “Nip/Tuck” producers:
The city is just fine.
But the talent-free twit reality TV “celebrity” by the same name makes my blood boil.
I know New York
(a.k.a. Tiffany Pollard) made her “big break” starring on the washed up,
“Bamboozled” former hip-hop star Flava Flav’s “Flavor of Love” reality TV show
on VH1. She skillfully out skanked many of
the other trashy women on the show, only to be rejected twice by the
gold-toothed former(?) crackhead from Public Enemy. And now she’s the star of her own rock-bottom
reality show, “I Love New York.” Knuckle-dragging cretins are vying for her
affection in some of the worst television since “Cop Rock.”
When I saw the previews for the upcoming episode after last
night’s fabulous season premier, I was horrified. Please, please, please don’t make Ms. New York a regular
character on the show. For the love of
god, this D-level celeb doesn’t need anymore attention. If it’s just a cameo that makes jokes at her
expense, I’m all for it. But don’t turn
off legions of “Nip/Tuck” fans by including this annoying little troll of a
woman in this season’s plotline.
It seems like you’re finally embracing the comedic side of
the show’s personality. And if last
night’s episode is any indication, season five will be one of the best
yet. But don’t ruin it. Keep New
York on bad VH1 reality shows where she belongs.
Your fan,
Bryan
